Sell online without losing orders at checkout

We build and repair online stores: product data, payments, shipping rules, taxation and the inventory sync between your store and your warehouse.

What arrives
  • A store with your catalogue loaded, including variants, images and descriptions
  • Payment methods live and tested, with a refund run end to end before launch
  • Shipping and tax rules set per region, checked against 3 real orders
  • Inventory synchronised with your warehouse or accounting system on a schedule you choose

Who this is for

Three profiles. If none of them is recognisably you, this is probably the wrong page - and the line below is the one worth reading before you book anything.

Not a fit: Skip this if you have under 20 products and no inventory system, because a hosted store you configure yourself will serve you better.

Catalogue to basket to card, and the step in checkout where the money is actually lost.

Retailer moving from a marketplace to their own store

Marketplace commissions keep rising, you own none of the customer data, and repeat buyers cannot locate you directly.

Brand owner with a store that converts badly

Traffic is adequate but carts are abandoned at payment, and nobody can identify which step loses the order.

Wholesaler selling to trade customers on credit terms

Orders arrive by email and WhatsApp, prices differ per customer, and someone retypes everything into the accounting system.

What you get

  • A store with your catalogue loaded, including variants, images and descriptions
  • Payment methods live and tested, with a refund run end to end before launch
  • Shipping and tax rules set per region, checked against 3 real orders
  • Inventory synchronised with your warehouse or accounting system on a schedule you choose
  • Checkout analytics showing precisely where shoppers abandon, step by step
  • Order, invoice and return emails written and styled, not left as defaults
  • A runbook for adding products, running a sale and handling a failed payment

Chosen per project, not per fashion. If your team already runs something else and it works, we use that.

How the work runs

  1. 1

    Catalogue audit

We review your products, variants and stock data first, because disorganised catalogue data undermines every store built on it.

From you: A product export with prices, variants, stock levels and images, however untidy.

    1 week
  2. 2

    Platform choice

We recommend Shopify, WooCommerce or a custom build, based on catalogue size, order volume and how odd your pricing is.

From you: Your order volume, the systems you already pay for, and any contracts you cannot exit.

    1 week
  3. 3

    Store build

We build the storefront, load the catalogue, and connect payments, shipping and tax for the regions you sell in.

From you: Merchant account details, courier accounts, and someone who can confirm tax rules per region.

    5-10 weeks
  4. 4

    Test orders

We place genuine orders through every payment method, then refund them, verifying inventory, emails and accounting entries each time.

From you: A warehouse or accounts staff member to confirm each test order looks right.

    1-2 weeks
  5. 5

    Launch and tune

We go live, then measure checkout abandonment for 6 weeks and fix the steps losing the most orders.

From you: Access to your ad and analytics accounts, plus weekly sales numbers to compare against.

How we work together

Fixed project

Scope and price agreed up front. Best when the outcome is known and the deadline is real.

Dedicated team

A named team for a quarter or more. Best when the roadmap will change and you want the context kept.

Staff augmentation

Engineers inside your process and your tools. Best when you have the lead and need the hands.

Questions we get asked

Shopify suits most catalogues under a few thousand products with standard pricing. It handles payments, tax and security for you, and your own team can operate it. Custom development makes sense when pricing differs per customer, stock lives in an ERP, or the buying flow is unusual. We choose that after seeing your product data.

Yes, the current store stays live until the day you switch. We build on a separate staging URL that search engines cannot index, then move the domain during your quietest hours. Orders in flight stay in the old system until they ship. Old product URLs redirect, so links in ads and emails keep working.

Plan on 6 to 12 weeks, depending on catalogue size and how many systems connect. A 200-product Shopify store with clean data and 1 payment method can be live in 6. A custom store syncing with an ERP and trade pricing takes longer. Catalogue clean-up is the step that decides it.

Call us, and payment or checkout faults get examined the same working day for the first 60 days. Order failures are the fault we treat as most urgent, because every hour is lost revenue. We also configure alerts on failed payments and stuck orders, so we often see the problem before you do.

You own both. The Shopify or hosting account is yours, the customer list is yours, and we work inside your accounts rather than ours. Product data, order history and email lists export in standard formats whenever you ask. If you leave us, nothing needs migrating, because nothing of yours sits on our systems.
